We’re so thankful to have come out of our winter hibernation to the loveliness of this Spring wedding at Independence Grove in Libertyville, IL. The leaves and buds had just started to pop this weekend and these two love birds were blessed with the first warm day of the year. Jose and Maggie were an absolute joy to capture and I cannot help but smile as I go through this day all over again. Maggie’s color palette and details were glorious. Whites, ivories, and lots of greens. Her gown, makeup, and hair by Patty McGuire were perfection. Elegant simplicity will never go out of style. Also, we love getting to spend a day on the grounds of Independence Grove in Libertyville, IL and working alongside their incredible staff. Every square inch of this day was surrounded by the most lush floral displays by Lilypots. (Their floral chandelier at the Grand Geneva is a MUST see!) Lianna & Charlie’s guests lounged on luxurious velvet chairs, including their insanely romantic sweetheart table by Forever Birdy and floral backdrop by Lilypots. The Yerkes Observatory made for a grand backdrop for their portraits! Lianna & Charlie, what an honor and a joy it was to capture your day.
