We knew before it even started that this day was going to be as close to perfect as it gets. It’s like the entire state of Wisconsin was glowing and showing off just for these two on their wedding day. This happened to be our one and only full wedding day due to covid this year. I’m thrilled for these two and the perfect date they choose to say “I do” with as many friends and family members that were able to celebrate.

What an absolute delight and joy of a day to relive all over again. It was the dose of sunshine, vitamin D, and joy that I needed on Quarantine Day 467. That bright sunshine, yellows and soft blues, an insanely fun bridal party, and such a kind and fun loving couples left us with hearts full. Dan and Mica are the real deal. Not only was it a treat to just get to be with them all day, but it was also a treat to capture their authenticity. Every part of the day was centered on enjoying their loved ones, dear friends, and each other. They are DEEPLY loved and it was so easy to see why. Every part of the day, beginning to end, took place in one of our all time favorite places in this area. Geneva National is a treasure. We’re so thankful for the gift it was to capture this day and we’re so excited to finally share more!

For Chase Kristen, it was a no brainer as to where they wanted to capture their Engagement photos. Chase’s beautiful lake house sits on Benedict Lake and it was a dream to visit and capture these two in their neck of the woods. It was that warm hazy part of summer that we live for. And triple points for taking out the boat for a few more photos to end the night on.

Oh my goodness gracious. Where to even begin with Nick & Lorielle’s off the charts stunning, classic Chicago Wedding day?! When we met Nick & Lorielle, we knew these two would be a treat to get to spend the day with. They are adorable as individuals and even more adorable with one another. This day was beautifully planned by these love birds with the help and guidance of our girl, Carly from LOLA Events. There wasn’t a single detail that wasn’t meticulously or thoughtfully planned. Lorielle’s elegant, sophisticated, and clean style was a dream for our cameras. After their sweet and traditional ceremony, we ventured to their favorite skylines and Chicago Architecture along with their delightful family & friends. Their destinations and our favorite foggy Chicago weather did not disappoint as a backdrop for these cuties. This day was truly a joy and their wedding vibes/inspiration was off the charts romantic and Classic Chicago. …also, keep scrolling to see them tear up that dance floor!!! If I could hand pick a wedding to kickstart our entire 2019 Wedding Season, it would have been this one. We’re so thankful to have come out of our winter hibernation to the loveliness of this Spring wedding at Independence Grove in Libertyville, IL. The leaves and buds had just started to pop this weekend and these two love birds were blessed with the first warm day of the year. Jose and Maggie were an absolute joy to capture and I cannot help but smile as I go through this day all over again. Maggie’s color palette and details were glorious. Whites, ivories, and lots of greens. Her gown, makeup, and hair by Patty McGuire were perfection. Elegant simplicity will never go out of style. Also, we love getting to spend a day on the grounds of Independence Grove in Libertyville, IL and working alongside their incredible staff. The smiles, laughs, and joy from this wedding left us with hearts full. Maggie & Jose, thank you for the honor of getting to capture you and your loved ones! You guys are breathtaking.

Charlie and Lianna said “I do” on the first of September at St. Andrew’s Parish in Delavan, Wi followed by the most elegant and luxurious reception at the mountain top chalet at Grand Geneva Resort & Spa. Every square inch of this day was surrounded by the most lush floral displays by Lilypots. (Their floral chandelier at the Grand Geneva is a MUST see!) Lianna & Charlie’s guests lounged on luxurious velvet chairs, including their insanely romantic sweetheart table by Forever Birdy and floral backdrop by Lilypots. The Yerkes Observatory made for a grand backdrop for their portraits! Lianna & Charlie, what an honor and a joy it was to capture your day. Your love for one another was contagious and we still cannot get over your beautiful first dance. (It was AMAZING! Go and see for yourself!)
