We've never had the opportunity to capture an actual backyard wedding until 2020. Ashlie and Andrew’s day was hands down one of the loveliest, most romantic, and intimate weddings I’ve ever witnessed. They said “I do” in their parents’ backyard surrounded by their closest friends and family members. We dodged the rain during their first look and portraits by going back and forth between the yard and the front porch. And just after their ceremony and family photos, the heavens opened up and it was a summer rain storm for the books. Despite all the hardships of 2020, this day is one of my favorites. So much heart, intentionality, and all about what matters most. The biggest congratulations to Ashlie & Andrew!

It’s official. We are head over heels for intimate backyard weddings. Becca & Peter are incredible. There was nothing that was going to stop these two from getting married and the joy was more beautiful than words can describe. Nothing can stop true love, friends. It was such a treat to capture these two beautiful souls and their closest family members and friends. And does it get any more meaningful than saying “I do” in your very own backyard?! I know this day was not what they were envisioning a year ago. It was better. And I cannot wait to still capture and celebrate their big reception and celebration with the entirety of their family and friends. Becca and Peter, thank you for the honor of getting to be a part of this perfect day. You two are the real deal. And we can’t wait to continue this party later on!
