Family Portraits | The Carters - Chicago Fine Art Wedding Photography
Into The Woods
This past weekend Meg and I got to do a family portrait shoot with the Carter family. Being a beautiful Fall day we decided to head off into the woods for some folksy foliage fun. This was the perfect setting for this session. Even though we are approaching the end of Autumn in Illinois, The colors of the trees and leaves still had some of their warmth left to them, which seemed to reflect the warmth of this young family perfectly. Meg and I had a blast getting to spend some time watching everyone play and interact with one another. We stacked blocks, played with sticks, tried to eat leaves, and blazed some trails as we searched and found the perfect places to take the portraits. Sometimes photo sessions are just more fun when you have to make a hike to get the photos you want. Sometimes, it's just more fun to head into the woods.
